Bellwether Wrattonbully Shiraz is sourced from Heather and Nick Laycock's vineyard at Wrattonbully, a cool region located over world heritage listed limestone caves.

The vines are often crop thinned several times to ensure quality fruit. At the winery, half the grapes are included as whole bunches while the remainder are destemmed whole berries.

The juice ferments with naturally occurring yeasts. For maturation, the wine is transferred to new and seasoned French oak puncheons.

Deep red, Bellwether Wrattonbully Shiraz is medium to full bodied with warm spice and savoury characters. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
